1012 new files, so 506 new sound files. Removed two sound files which are used by Deadly BossMods to announce its warnings. Patch 4.3.3 required a rather significant update Blizzard partly reversed the changes in 4.3.3 for patch 4.3.4. I don't have this problem with valid files. The zero byte sound files gave me problems while playing addon sounds, where half of them just didn't play.
It does however not rely on files with zero byte content but on "real" muted valid sound files (ogg and wav). This mod was inspired by silverwind's Bossmod Sound Fix (while game is muted). Have you tried posting this in the UI and. Havent heard of or seen an addon that only removes certain very small parts of the WoW-sound register. rar into /Data directly so that you have a /Data/Sound directory. I´m using the eternal water elemental glyph as i´m leveling frost and i´m wondering if there is an addon or something to turn off the sound the elemental makes. If you only want muted combat sound, check out the other file here. Not a gnome, its from Worms (Armageddeon, possibly others too). Addons that play their own sound files sill work though. Make sure to go into the settings (ESC -> Interface -> AddOns -> BugSack) and disable the default sound (unless you love a gnome saying 'Fatality' every time you get an error). It affects all* sound files in game so you won't hear things like UI clicks or ready checks or boss speeches anymore.
This file removes all sound files from the game so that you can clearly hear your addon sounds. I don't mind the alert sounds, the ones I want to get rid of are those "cute" sounds when you do something/get something (rewards, picking up a new mog piece, etc).I don't play anymore, you should check out this addon instead: I have looked and still can't find some of them. I did a search on this reddit trying to find out if anyone else had asked this and as far as I could find, there are none. These are things like a "nintendo-style" victory, anything I add to my collection, and a few more. I think these sounds are coming from the add-ons. I can't find a few of the silly sounds the add-ons make.
